Thank you for your support - 23rd Annual Polo for Charity

Even though it was just two weeks after Hurricane Matthew stormed through Bluffton and Hilton Head Island… over 2,000 attendees came out to support our 23rd Annual Polo for Charity event on October 23rd.
The silent auction received outstanding support, raising $6,000. Our Club was able to give $2,000 each to the following organizations to help support the victims of Hurricane Matthew; Deep Well, Bluffton Self Help and Rotary District 7770.
Additionally, this year, event proceeds will benefit Moss Creek Marinesand Paws4Vets, as well as other local charities. Moss Creek Marines (MCM) is a non-profit group of former Marines who now reside in Moss Creek Plantation. Through this organization and Paws4Vets, the Rotary Club will help to provide funding needed for placing assistance dogs with veterans. MCM works with Paws4Vets tosupport several local Marines who need dogs due to PTSD, traumatic brain injury and other mental and physical injuries.
